At Huntsville International Airport (HSV), Yonkers Industries served as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative, leading the renovation and expansion of the existing fixed-base operator facility from preconstruction through completion. Acting as a strategic advisor, our team provided comprehensive oversight, cost management, and coordination to ensure the project achieved the owner’s operational goals while minimizing disruption to ongoing airport activity.

The project included the complete renovation of the existing 6,000 SF FBO, modernizing interior spaces to enhance functionality, passenger comfort, and operational flow. A 2,400 SF addition expanded the facility’s footprint, increasing capacity and elevating the level of service for flight crews and travelers.

Drawing inspiration from Huntsville’s rich history in space exploration, the interior design incorporates subtle aerospace influences throughout the facility. Clean lines, dynamic lighting elements, and curated finishes pay homage to the region’s legacy as “Rocket City,” creating a distinctive sense of place while maintaining the sophistication expected of a premier FBO. The result is a refreshed, forward-looking aviation environment that reflects both the community’s heritage and its innovative spirit.
