At Miami International Airport (MIA), Yonkers Industries served as Project Manager and Owner’s Representative for a $36 million airside infrastructure initiative focused on ramp construction and protective blast wall installations. From early planning through construction oversight, our team provided strategic leadership, cost control, and coordination within one of the nation’s busiest international aviation environments.
The project included large-scale ramp improvements designed to enhance aircraft circulation, safety, and operational efficiency, along with the construction of specialized blast walls to provide critical airfield protection and compliance with safety standards. Executing complex airside work within an active operational setting required detailed phasing, stakeholder coordination, and strict adherence to airport security and safety protocols.
Through disciplined project management and proactive oversight, Yonkers Industries helped deliver resilient, high-performance infrastructure that strengthens MIA’s operational capabilities and supports continued growth in domestic and international aviation activity.
